Reviewed! Kiehl’s Line-Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate

You know how for most people Raccoon Eyes is a phenomenon that usually occurs only when your makeup smears around your eye area? Well I  am not most people. I always looked like I had Raccoon Eyes thanks to the perpetual dark circles under my eyes that refused to go away. That is until I discovered Kiehl’s Line-Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate. I’ve been using eye cream for a couple of years now and while some of them managed to tame my dark circles ever so slightly, none of them had any significant effect.

I picked up the Keihl’s Line-Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate on a whim, as a replacement for my previous tube of eye cream which was running low. I consider it my best impulse-buy yet!

Kiehl's line reducing eye brightening concentrate

What it claims:

An effective line reducing eye treatment for brighter, younger-looking eyes. Contains a potent concentration of Pure Vitamin C 10.5%, known for its affinity with skin and powerful ability to improve the appearance of aging skin. With Haloxyl, this formula strengthens, soothes and brightens the eye area, helping to eliminate dark circles.

What it is:

The good:

  • Rich, creamy formula, that feels extremely nourishing and soothing.
  • A little goes a long way. A rice-grain sized dollop is enough for both eyes. I’ve been using this twice a day, every day for about a month now and the tube still feels full.
  • My perpetual dark circles are a faint memory, thanks to this product.

The not so good:

  • It is a pricey product.

The price:

INR 2,300 for 15 ml

The verdict:

This product has worked wonders for me. Not only have my dark circles all but vanished, my eyes look brighter than ever. No product has even come close to being as effective. I have come to consider this product a miracle worker, so I don’t mind the price. I would repurchase it, except I’d like to the alternates that Kiehl’s has in its range. I’ve heard great things about the  Creamy Eye Treatment with Avacado.
